Visit 275 Artist Studios From Across Marin At SCA

Marin Open Studios – May 3-4 and May 10–11

Once a year artists across Marin open their studios to the public. This much anticipated event takes place May 3-4 and May 10-11 from 11:00 AM am to 6:00 PM each day. Over 275 artists are participating this year, including 60 who are new to Marin Open Studios.

For two weekends, you can choose your own adventure and visit studios all over Marin to meet the artists, discover their creative spaces, see their artwork up close, and purchase work directly from them. Sculpture, abstract and figurative painting, ceramics/pottery, photography, mixed media, textiles, jewelry, watercolor, pastels, glass, drawing, wood, encaustics, digital media, and much more—there is so much to explore.

Not sure which of the 275 studios to visit? Make the Sausalito Center For The Arts your first stop. We are hosting the Marin Open Studios Preview Gallery, where you can see work from each of the 275 artists in one place.

The Preview Gallery is open April 25 to May 11 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM (closed Mondays and Tuesdays).

Once you’ve chosen your favorite artists, you can pick up a Tour Guide complete with maps to all the studios or use the Local Getaways App to create a personalized tour on your phone.

For 32 years, Marin Open Studios has created a connected community around artists and their art. Make a day of it with your friends and family!

Join us for a fabulous night of art, wine, and more benefiting Marin Open Studios as we celebrate Marin’s local treasures!

Marin Open Studios is excited to invite you to our Benefit for Art celebration! For 32 years, we've been the heartbeat of Marin's art community, connecting thousands of art lovers with hundreds of talented local artists each year. We are raising much needed funds to continue our mission to empower artists and enrich our community through vibrant, accessible art experiences.

This year, we are spotlighting DrawBridge, an organization providing safe, supportive spaces where children can freely create at shelters, affordable housing sites, and community centers throughout the Bay Area.

This exciting benefit brings art lovers and local artists together for a spectacular evening. Set in a former bank turned art space, the Preview Gallery is home to the action. Unlock surprises in the historic vault during the Pick-a-Treasure game, sip on special wines from the wine pull, and bid on incredible vacation stays in the auction. With a tasting table, an open bar, and the first look at the latest exhibition, it’s an unforgettable night celebrating art and community.

This is also your chance to purchase artwork in the Preview Gallery as it officially opens to the public!
