A young woman from Ukraine who, along with her mother, grandmother, and cat, desperately struggle to escape their war-torn home while an army of supporters on the opposite side of the world fight to keep them safe.
Huddled amidst the rubble of their Ukrainian home, the family is forcefully escorted into a Russian “filtration” camp by armed operatives. Imprisoned but undaunted, they clandestinely dispatch a cry for aid to an American ally. An international team assembles to facilitate the family's escape across the Russian frontier, maneuvering through hidden safehouses while they elude authorities in their daring pursuit of freedom.
This narrative explores the dichotomy of despair and hope, portraying humanity's collaborative efforts as a family confronts nightmarish trials, steadfastly clinging to survival and triumph. In the darkest moments, the flicker of hope guides the family through the labyrinth of despair, fueling their determination to emerge victorious against all odds.
